From Rennsport VI in 2018 Nord Sterner’s Steve Meydell and Bob Fleming visit with one of the Porsche engineers on the 919 Evo project car. This was going to be the last official run for this car and they were very willing to talk about it’s amazing details. Conditions were not right to set a new course record at Laguna Seca, but it came close. Amazing sight to see. Incredibly fast.“Want to see the engine? No problem. We will take the rear bodywork off.” The 650+ hp tiny V4 is in there somewhere.
