First Fling

First Fling is our first DE and DT of the season. Dust off your cars from winter storage and stretch their legs on the track.

For those new to track driving, our PCA-certified Drivers Training (DT) program will teach you over 2 days how to drive your P-car at speed and learn the critical skills of car control, weight transfer, and braking.

This course is required to progress into solo DE participation with Nord Stern and other PCA region DE events.

Nord Stern assigns drivers to run groups based on experience and car horsepower.  If you are uncomfortable with the run group assignment, changes can be made at the track by contacting the Event Master, the event CDI, or the Registrar.

The track schedule will have 4 DE groups, with Group 1 exclusively for the incoming DT students. There will be 4 run groups all-day Friday and again Saturday morning.  On Saturday afternoon, the DT students will combine with the Group 2 DE drivers, and the Group 3 & Group 4 run groups will combine until the track goes cold at 4pm. BIR facility closes at 5:00 PM.

We are offering both a single-day price at $400 or both days at $625. Discount for two day will show in the cart when both days are added.
