Dad was working at Metropolitian and the first year went thru the car before the start of the season. He took it out on Hwy 61 to do a final check out run in the car. Lets say he went fster than the speed limit. 20 minutes after getting back there was a trooper who informed the shop a 911 was seen at a high rate of speed. If they wanted to test the the car they should contactthem first and they would find a safe place to run the car. Remember this was the early 70’s.
