The Afton Concour began in a steady rain in 1970 And was held annually for 35 years before we out-grew the site. This event is now the All Porsche Show so maybe we should be celebrating a golden anniversary!. Many still miss Selma’s ice cream parlor across the street. This photo is from the mid-70s. Active 356 member Bob Cox is featured in the red jacket and colorful hat.
After one year baking in the hot sun of the Parking lot at Southdale, the show moved to Central Park in Roseville and is now an element of that city’s annual Rose Fest.
