My passion for Porsches goes back to my childhood when the first 911 Turbo was released. I had a large poster of it on my wall (still have the poster) and could only dream of owning one someday. I bought my first Porsche in 1996, a 1995 911, what a wonderful car, it changed my mindset on what a sports car could do. Since that time my collection and passion for the brand has grown. I have enjoyed many years in Nord Stern attending drives, tech sessions, social and track events and making many new friendships. I obtained my Club Racing license in 2025 and am excited for the 2026 season. With all the great opportunities this club has to offer I encourage you to get involved and attend as many events as you can. I look forward to 2026 to give back to a great club that has given me so many wonderful memories.

I have been a car guy from an early age. Growing up in rural NW Missouri, you didn’t see many Porsches – Mustangs, Camaros and a few Corvettes. I remember the first Porsche I dreamed of owning – the 1983 944 in Guards Red. Wow. We purchased our Speed Yellow Cayman S in 2021.

We relocated to the Cities three years ago and a top priority for Mary and I was to join Nord Stern. I remember the first Social gathering we attended, we couldn’t have felt more welcome. I wanted to learn more about the club and the Porsche experience – attending business meetings, drives, social and track events. I can’t express how impressed I have been with this group: friendly, helpful and informative. I look forward to serving, learning and enjoying every minute of this new adventure.

I’ve been passionate about all things fast since college. My first vehicle was a motorcycle, and over the years I’ve been fortunate to own several German cars including an S4, 435xi, M2, and now a 911 Carrera T. For two decades, my need for speed also found an outlet throwing myself out of airplanes.

In the past two years, I’ve been especially lucky to combine my love of travel and performance: I solo motorcycled across Italy and Switzerland on a BMW motorcycle, explored Australia and Tasmania with Charley Boorman in September 2024, and took delivery of my first Porsche that October.

Professionally, I’m a Software Engineer at Amazon, where I work extensively with data and analytics. I have a strong head for numbers and a lifelong interest in economics, often diving into books by Michael Lewis, Daniel Kahneman, and Malcolm Gladwell. I live in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis with my wonderful wife, Sarah Hanson. I hope to bring the same energy, precision, and financial discipline that I apply in my career to the role of Treasurer.
